What Have We Come To?

Over the weekend I came across a very disturbing story that really made me sit and think for the majority of this weekend. I read up on a story (from a random forum) regarding a mentally challenged man being beaten to death in a karate dojo. The most sickening part of it all is the fact that other people stodd by as the man was stompped to death by these martial arts instructors. Once the man is beaten severly he is dragged out to a back alley where he later dies. The karate instructor who ordered the beating was never charged in court which I also find extremely disturbing.

If you ever witness a crime being committed especially one that puts the life of another in danger, DO SOMETHING...do not ever assume that " someone else will". Being the coward that you are stnding there you are just as guilty for the crime committed by refusing to do the right thing.

The karate instructor Bobby Blythe said this:

'This dummy was in my shopping center while I was on a Bodyguard Job in Washington, DC. This guy was in the Pizza Hut eating pizza off the plates of others and the Pizza Hut Manager ran him out with a pistol. Later the very same day, police officers were called to remove him from a nearby pharmacy after having been caught reaching into customer's purses. A short time after that, he visited a Napa Auto Parts store next to my Karate Dojo and told the management he planned on teaching in that Dojo and that Jesus taught him.

'The Napa guys told him he was confused (their polite way of warning the man against such action), but not wanting to miss a show, they told the man they would close early just to watch and that he must not know the owner, which is nobody to play with.. Needless to say, the police pulled him out of the dumpster behind my Karate Dojo where he was neatly placed. Semper Fi to all my Marine brothers. The karate student in the white is also a Marine Sgt. and a brand new Black Belt. Never get stupid with a Marine, you could get jacked up and have your clock stopped.'"

OMG A ZOMBIE!!!

So many of you prolly thought this blog was dead haha but I'm back on the keyboard and I've got a few brand new ideas (that I thought of myself since no body gives me suggestions EVER!!!) that should help make this blog even better. More on that later tho in fact, you can read more on my first new "exciting" idea in the next post.

So what's been up?!?

Well to put things simply I've been enjoying the little bit of time I have left wit some of my homies before school starts back up again. For thoses of you who have been livin in a cave for the past few weeks, I've decided to take a break from school and to dive into the "real world" hence, get a (couple) of jobs and pusue my music...anyway besides that though I've been enjoying life so much so that I guess I forget to update this thing haha...well yea, that's pretty much wats poppin wit me..now go and read my next post for details on "A sit down with Marc"

ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT

It's late and im wide awake so I guess I'll do a lil reflective post about something I realized today. Often times i have people say to me "Marc you're mean" or "Why are you making fun of me?"...LOL I'm not gonna lie these responses generally don't hurt my feelings and often times make me laugh since I find the mere thought of myself being a mean person; absurd. Today however while relaxing on the couch I thought about about it and now it makes sense. You see I live in Cleveland in the Lee-Harvard area...If you don't know then leme tell ya, there aint nothin special about my neighborhood. The most exciting thing is finding out how many people are gonna ask if they can pump ur gas for "bus fare (alcohol)"..Anyway since I'm from this area and my parents aren't rich (nowhere close) I naturally went to cleveland public schools through middle school. If you didn't know it's survival of the fittest there and since I wasn't a star athlete or particular good looking, I had to get by with jokes.

Like a schoolwide activity such as lunch, recess or bathroom breaks there were "riding sessions".

RIDING SESSIONS- where students gather to "rank", "roast", "ride" or make fun of each other through often-times hurtful jokes in order to gain a crowds approval.

Riding sessions could take place in the halls, classes, lunchrooms ANYWHERE..they were just a natural part of life. Everyone had to learn to defend themselves cuz you never knew when your time to be ranked on was coming..Riding sessions would contain jokes that often started with "Look at this dude wearin *insert hurtful staement here*" or " I know you not talkin wit yo*insert hurtful statement here*"..Jokes were vicious but they were fun times..I had to hold my own as did everyone else..

Now fast forward to present day..I just realized that I still have that menatality and unfortunately I hold riding sessions on kids who don't stand a chance lol. If a person makes a smart comment at me they are simply ignorant to the fact that I grew up on peole talkin reckless and I can gaurantee in the end it's YOUR feelings that'll be hurt...

REMEMBRANCE

Wats poppin peeps? It is a very hot day today and I'm hopin it would rain!! I'm sittin here feeling like im in the rainforest every part of me feels all sticky..PAUSE anyway today is a big day. Today I am going to a meeting/fundraiser for the Jade foundation which was created in memory of my late friend Alex "Big Jeffrey" Dobay. Dobay was a teammate and a dear friend of mine who better than anyone else, showed me that everyday can be made worthwhile and that almost any situation can be a reason to laugh :)..This fundraiser should have a good turnout and is for a great cause. I'm excited to see everyone and reflect on summer(which is winding down). Well I need to go get ready so im not running around at the last minute! I'll probably talk to you guys later..If not, i'll hit ya tmrw

YOU'RE DOING WHAT?!?

"Are you serious?", "You're making a mistake", "When you stop it is SO hard to ever go back", "What did your parents say?!?!?!"

I got these questions alot over the last few days. I felt like an athlete being bombarded by news crews and interviewers who all thought they were giving me "original" advice. I appreciate love I really do however, it's a done deal now. For those of you who are unaware due to missing my previous post on the topic or due to your inability to take obvious hints, I have decided to cease going to college.

Now that that's out of the way I guess I'll answer the simple question "Why?". Hmmm well I'll try to explain it as best I can with my typing-impaired fingers. At this point of my life I feel like I want to start "living". I've been a student for most of my life. I feel as though I go through this "cycle of expectations"..What I mean by that is I feel as though at every stage of my life there are these certain "expectations" that have been conjured up for me to meet in order to have the "best life possible" or to "reach my potential" as they say..

While I know that as the times are changing and society moves forward education is becoming more and more essential to making a good living..DUHHHH lol

I understand that but, i feel as though I want to try something a lil different. I mean hey, I could die 2 months, weeks, hell...2 minutes from now....When I die do I want to say I lived how I wished to or do I want to say I did what was the "norm" and was expected of me even though it didnt feel exactly right for me.. It's a debate, I held it and the "live life how I want to" side won.

Still not a good enough explanation for you? Leme put it this way, college in no way is "cheap". It is not a place for me to go into year after year saying I'm not sure what I want to be yet. Everyone asks "what do you wanna be?"..I tend to say "happy"..People chuckle and reply "Well go get that degree, a wife and a good job and you'll be happy!!"..nope..maybe that'd make them happy but not me. Whatever God has in store for me who knows..but who's to say the path HAS to go through college? And even if it does, there is no implication that that path is ready to be travelled yet. Time will tell. and I'll keep my eyes and heart open.

BEEF!!!!

OUCH OUCH OUCH!!! When I read up on this beef recently I jus knew I HAD to fill you guys in on it! As you all may or may not know Mr. Slim Shady himself aka Eminem has a lil "thing" for Mariah Carey who is now married to Nick Cannon. This is a lil complicated so stick with me and I promise you the end will be well worth it.

Now Em brings up a few notable points in this rap:
1. He says that he has PICTURES that he is willing to release which were sent to him by Mariah of herself in compromising situations..ouch

2. He says that he has voicemails from Mariah begging to see him

3. He tell a somewhat graphic story of him having sex with Mariah and prematurely cumming saying that "if he is embarassing himself" by telling the story then "he is embarassing her too"

4. finally at the end he hints that he tried DP (double penetration on Mariah) though he eloquently states it as putting two CD's in one slot LMFAO!!

MY THOUGHTS:
I think Em went hard as fuck at Mariah and Nick *no homo!!. He ripped them apart. With all these things that Em says he has in storage (which I believe he has) the best thing for Nick and Mariah to do is to shut the hell up..This man is crazy and could ruin you Mariah...I'm jus waitin to see what's next

HEY YALL

Waddup worlllllld? Well I gotta few things I need to let off my chest listen up and listen good. First thing being about this blog, I'm not really feelin the response/feedback that I feel is necessary in order for me to want to update this thing. I get people saying all the time "oh, you have a blog?!?" or I get people who say "I read ur blog all the time!!" yea yea yea..The point is I'm lacking the "followers", feedback and comments I'm looking for. Yes, this blog is supposed to be about things in MY life I know that but, in the same regards I wanna know exactly what you guys would like to hear about so I can keep this whole thing fresh and interesting..The second thing at hand is I am currently in the process of searching for dope studio equipment so I can bring you guys what you've been asking for. Trust me, all of the raps you hav heard from me thus far have been written in 1hr. or less..Imma take my time for these mixtapes and they WILL be fiya!!!...Third issue at hand, I decided I'm dropping outta college....yea yea I can hear the collective groan and "WTF?!? you're makin a mistake!!" comments now. everyone jus chill...I'll dedicate a post to that decision sometime later in the near future.
